NEW LOGO GENERATOR FOR HD MIGRATION FROM PIXEL
POWER
| Stand 7.138, IBC2006, Amsterdam, 8 September 2006: IBC2006
sees the launch of LogoVision, a new switchable SD and HD logo
generator from Pixel Power which incorporates the display technology
of its popular Clarity graphics generator. Designed for automated
operation, the compact unit inserts multiple clocks, multi-layer
static and animated logos, text crawls and other graphics. |

LogoVision can be set up from a front panel interface or via a
web browser. In use it will be under the control of a station
automation system, triggering the device by GPI as well as by serial
or ethernet protocols.
LogoVision incorporates two video inputs with automatic bypass in
the event of power failure (dual power supplies are available as an
option). Content is stored in solid-state memory for security and
minimum power requirements. Options include audio clip playback with
group mixing, a 2D DVE, and interfaces for a temperature probe and
the USA Emergency Alert System.
“Broadcasters should not be deterred from moving to HD
transmission because of the high cost of infrastructure elements
like online graphics and logo insertion,” says Pixel Power MD James
Gilbert. “LogoVision is ready for HD with no upgrade required, but
is priced similarly to SD-only logo generators from some of our
competitors.”
