BrandMaster injects sophisticated graphics capability for branding where it belongs — directly at the point of transmission — while simultaneously reducing the complexity of the signal path and streamlining the channel branding process.
BrandMaster is the first master control switcher made by a company that fully understands channel branding. BrandMaster puts a complete suite of automated broadcast graphics tools and full master control functionality inside a single, integrated device, making it easier to deliver a consistent, fully realized identity for a channel. 
This streamlines the signal transmission chain significantly, reducing the amount of equipment, power consumption and total cost required to deliver a uniquely branded broadcast channel. BrandMaster is easily deployed for single or multi-channel environments and supports both standard and high definition video formats.
Recognizing the need to match budget and graphics requirements for a range of channels, BrandMaster is available in three different versions.

BrandMaster supports a wide range of branding requirements for both standard and high definition channels including multi-layer static and animated logos, clocks, text crawls, multiple tickers, DVE moves such as squeezeback, EAS and many other graphics elements.
Full audio support is included for multi-channel sound with shuffling and voiceover capabilities. |

BrandMaster Clips adds two HD video clip players. Each clip player plays video and key streams and has its own 2D DVE.
The clip players can be used for animated backgrounds, snipes, bumpers or even promo playback, freeing up ports on upstream video servers.
Pixel Power’s dedicated clip subsystem and mild compression provide the highest quality of video playback. Occupying only 3RU of space, BrandMaster Clips includes 2 hours of HD clip storage, expandable internally up to 8 hours. |

BrandMaster 3D adds real-time 3D and multi-channel 3D DVE capabilities within a compact 3RU chassis.
Dynamic text and live video from internal and/or external sources can be mapped onto sophisticated 3D models with keyframe animation. |

Control Panels
|
BrandMaster supports a flexible range of hard and soft panels to match the varied requirements of the master control environment.
Soft panels with optional touch screen
Cost effective and flexible soft panels can be built using the Pixel Control Toolbox or configured using the Pixel Power Management Console.
Multi-color LCD button panels
A range of 19” rack mount LCD button panels connect to BrandMaster using TCP/IP Ethernet and can control multiple systems via a simple channel select function. These panels provide from 17 to 119 buttons and range from 1RU to 5RU.
Dedicated hardware panel
A fully custom hardware panel will be available late 2009 for traditional master control operation. This will include a fixed preset / program section with dedicated buttons and a configurable accessory area offering LCD buttons and audio faders. |

| Router Integration |
Like most new generation master control products, BrandMaster utilizes an upstream router for crosspoint switching. With full support for major routing protocols the system can work with local master control routers or busses on the main station router, connecting via serial or TCP/IP Ethernet. For single channel installations the Pixel Power Router Control Server (PPRCS) is integrated with the BrandMaster hardware; for multi-channel master control the PPRCS is implemented using dual central controllers for optimum system resilience and redundancy.

| Graphics WorkFlow and Production Tools |
BrandMaster is a presentation device and has no built-in creation tools. Graphics are prepared using Pixel PREP software or Clarity hardware systems then transferred via network to the BrandMaster playout device.

Pixel PREP 3D
The choice between Pixel PREP software or Clarity hardware systems depends on budget. An appropriately configured Clarity system has the benefit of providing a real-time preview, including video clips, real-time 3D and live video sources. Graphics content on BrandMaster is managed remotely using the Pixel Power Management Console (PPMC) or Pixel Promo. |
