Clarity 3D
The 3D option allows live data to be mapped onto the surfaces of pre-produced 3D animations in real-time. Animations are initially created in 3D Studio MAX. The final rendered output is imported into Clarity GX and compiled in a special cell animation that includes surface mapping co-ordinates.

When the Live Texture cell is placed on a CG page the various other elements in the page can be assigned to the surfaces in the3D animation, Upon playout the 3D cell animation runs with the live graphics seamlessly mapped onto the 3D objects.

Audio
Digital audio recording, processing and playback is an option for Clarity 100, 300, 500 and 5000 systems. Audio may be recorded in real-time via AES or embedded inputs or imported as WAV files. Clarity can also mix incoming and internally stored audio, including automatic duck capability that is ideal for master control and promotion applications.

Video Clips
Clarity 300, 500 and 5000 systems may be equipped with an optional video clip player. The video clip option provides one stream of uncompressed video and keyfor each Clarity channel. The Clarity 500 may also direct both clip streams to one output channel.

Video Clip Storage
The disk array provides a minimum of 60 minutes of 4:2:2 storage, easily expandable via an external SCSI array. While the internal disc array is RAID 0, clip storage provided externally may be RAID 0 or RAID 5 for superior reliability.

Timecode Reader
Allows LTC or VITC to be used as a timing reference for triggering graphics, animations or as a time of day clock. May be required for frame accurate control of Clarity by certain automation systems.

Clarity Keyboard
A dedicated keyboard with single button access to the core character generation tools.
The Clarity keyboard is standard on most Clarity systems and is also available as an option.
It features dedicated keys for the main CG functions and status indicators for channel select and downstream keyer.

RapidRecall Keypad
A small footprint dedicated recall keypad for live-to-air CG or still store applications.
Allows control of Pixel Power graphics systems in crowded control rooms and OB vans. The keypad is offered in two versions with application specific capabilities targeting character generation or still store applications.

Redundant Power Supply
Clarity 500 systems can be fitted with dual redundant power supplies to further enhance system reliability. Dual redundant power supplies are standard on Clarity 300 and Clarity 5000 systems. All Clarity systems have bypass relays, software watchdog bypass and SNMP monitoring as standard.
