PIXEL POWER PARTNERS WITH NVISION
Booth SU6820, NAB2007, Las Vegas, 16 April:
Pixel Power and NVISION have entered into a partnership that will
dramatically enhance the graphics capabilities of NVISION’s
award-winning master control switcher. NVISION has selected Pixel
Power’s LogoVision SD/HD logo generator to integrate into its own
NV5128-MC HD multi-channel master control switching system.
“Others’ past efforts to combine such systems focused on building
a switcher into a graphics device, which isn’t as robust,” explains
Pixel Power Inc. CEO Pete Challinger. “Reversing this perceived
wisdom actually results in a more reliable, sophisticated solution.”
The NV5128-MC system is a reliable, purpose-built master control
switcher. The LogoVision unit is capable of generating very high
quality, complex graphics. The result of fully integrating these two
products is a best-of-breed system for master control switching and
branding.
LogoVision provides a major increase in the NV5128-MC’s native
graphics capabilities with multiple clocks, multi-layer static and
animated logos, text crawls and other graphics. It allows the
switcher to run large animations and tickers and integrate with
other elements such as a news service. “The quality and
cost-effectiveness of Pixel Power’s graphics was a major factor in
NVISION’s selection of Pixel Power as its graphics partner,”
explains NVISION director of product management Jay Kuca. “In
addition, Pixel Power shares NVISION’s outlook of providing
high-level technology with simple workflows.”
Pixel Power is exhibiting its full product range at NAB2007 on
booth SU6820.
NVISION is exhibiting at NAB2007 on booth SU9605, where the
integrated solution will be demonstrated.
