BURBANK, Calif.- Omneon Inc. and Pixel Power today announced a partnership designed to ensure tighter integration of the companies’ products and the development of future solutions that optimize broadcast workflows. The collaboration delivers best-of-breed applications that combine market-leading broadcast technologies while maintaining the performance and support expected from a single vendor.

The first product of the partnership between Omneon and Pixel Power was announced March 26, 2009. The new MediaDeck™ GX is a complete channel-playout solution that combines Omneon’s proven video server playout with the world-class graphics technology derived from Pixel Power's Clarity product line.

Also featuring advanced audio processing and the flexibility to operate under the control of the user’s preferred automation system, the MediaDeck GX system offers rich branding and master control functionality, making it easier and more affordable for broadcasters to launch new services or to make incremental additions to their existing channel lineup.
